today someone told me that june 4, as it’s called, remains largely undiscussed in china, officially speaking; and that when it’s briefly touched upon at school, is referred to as ‘an incident that occurred between spring and summer.’

i hope this decision has the desired impact, and doesn’t endanger anyone currently imprisoned, nor those writing non-euphemistically about their desires for social change.
